Day 1: Welcome to Cusco! Airport Pickup & Hotel Transfer

Welcome to the heart of the Inca Empire! Upon arrival at the airport, our team will be waiting to assist you with a smooth transfer from Cusco airport to city center and your hotel in the historic district. The rest of the day is free to acclimate, explore Cusco’s charming streets, and prepare for your upcoming jungle trek adventure.

Day 2: Chinchero ➝ Maras ➝ Moray Tour

⛰️ A brief trip through the Sacred Valley:

🕗 08:00 am – Hotel pickup and departure to Chinchero
We start with a scenic drive to Chinchero, home to impressive Chinchero ruins and living Andean traditions. Here, you’ll experience authentic weaving in Peru, learning how local artisans preserve ancestral textile techniques using natural dyes.

🕗 09:30 am – Explore the Salt Mines of Maras
Continue toward Maras to visit the iconic salt pools. The dazzling terraces of Maras Peru salt create one of the most photogenic landscapes in the region and are a highlight of any Maras Moray Cusco Peru tour.

🕗 11:30 am – Discover the circular terraces of Moray
Explore the fascinating Inca agricultural laboratory of Moray, where circular terraces were used to experiment with crops and microclimates — a masterpiece of Inca engineering.

🕗 13:30 pm – Return to Cusco and hotel drop-off
Enjoy a relaxed afternoon in Cusco, perfect for resting, shopping, or tasting local cuisine.

Day 3: Cusco ➝ Abra Málaga ➝ Santa María ➝ Hot Springs

🕗 05:30 am – Hotel pickup in Cusco and transfer to Abra Málaga

Early departure from Cusco as we drive through the Sacred Valley and climb to Abra Málaga Pass, also known as Pass Malaga, reaching 4,300 meters above sea level.

🕗 09:00 am – Start the Downhill Biking Activity

Gear up and begin an exhilarating downhill biking experience, descending over 2,000 meters into the high jungle — a thrilling start to your multi-day jungle trek.

🕗 12:30 pm – Lunch in Santa María (included)

Arrive in Santa María, a tropical town at 1,200 meters. Enjoy a freshly prepared local lunch.

🕗 15:00 pm – Rafting Activity on the Vilcanota River

Optional white-water rafting on the Vilcanota River (season and conditions permitting), adding adventure and adrenaline to the journey.

🕗 17:00 pm – Enjoy the Cocalmayo Hot Springs

Relax at the famous Cocalmayo hot springs, natural thermal pools surrounded by jungle-covered mountains — the perfect reward after an active day.

🕗 19:00 pm – Dinner and Overnight

Dinner and overnight stay in a cozy eco-lodge or guesthouse in Santa Teresa.

Day 4: Santa Teresa ➝ Hidroeléctrica ➝ Aguas Calientes

⛰️ The Most Beautiful & Rewarding Day:

🕗 08:00 am – Breakfast and Ride to the Zipline Base

After breakfast, head to the adventure base for the next activity.

🕗 08:30 am – Zipline Activity

Enjoy an exciting zipline activity over rivers and jungle valleys, lasting approximately 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours.

🕗 11:30 am – Ride to Hidroeléctrica

Transfer by vehicle to Hidroeléctrica, the starting point for lunch and the final trek.

🕗 12:00 pm – Lunch in Hidroeléctrica

Lunch surrounded by lush jungle scenery.

🕗 13:00 pm – Trekking to Aguas Calientes

Begin a scenic 3-hour hike along the railway to Aguas Calientes — one of the most popular Machu Picchu hike options.

🕗 16:00 pm – Arrival in Aguas Calientes

Check into your hotel in Machu Picchu Pueblo.

🕗 19:00 pm – Dinner and Rest
Dinner and briefing for the Machu Picchu visit.

Day 5: Machu Picchu ➝ Cusco

🌄 Arrival at the Lost City of the Incas:

🕗 05:30 am – Wake-up and Early Breakfast

Wake-up and early breakfast to begin your climb (or optional bus ride) to the Machu Picchu entrance.

🕗 06:00 am – Bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu

Short bus ride to the citadel entrance.

🕗 07:00 am – Guided Tour of Machu Picchu (2 hours)

Enjoy sunrise at Machu Picchu followed by a guided tour exploring temples, terraces, and sacred spaces. This journey is often compared to a 3 day Machu Picchu trek in terms of experience and reward.

🕗 09:30 am – Shuttle Bus to Aguas Calientes

Return to Aguas Calientes by bus or on foot.

🕗 13:00 pm – Lunch (not included)

🕗 14:30 – 15:00 pm – Train to Ollantaytambo

Train ride to Ollantaytambo, then private transfer back to Cusco.
